Today is Memorial Day in the United States, where I write from. Since BraveNewTalent is based in the UK, I was undecided as to whether this would be a weird post. I mean, I’m supposed to be paying my respects at a loved one’s grave…not writing a blog post. However, I’m a military brat, which in the States, means I grew up all over, as did my own parents, so I’m quite far from my grandfathers’ resting places. However, the day does put into perspective what it really means to be Brave and highlights the duties of us here at home (whatever side of the ocean you reside upon) to create a world that honors the memory of the fallen.
